Introduction of Chemical Reaction.

After industrial revolution in London (U.K) lot of industrial work established due to which excessive environment. Pollution become a major problem in London so government of United Kingdom appointed to check and gives suggestion to reduce the pollution emitted by the factories.
There he absorbed some common factor/operation in various factories like following of fluid, exchange of heat, exchange of mass, he prepared 12 lectures on common operation and started teaching them in United State/Kingdom.
After that come to known that these lecture and that unit operation in 1957 there was a conference in Amsterdam where the little of conference was Chemical Reaction Engineering and they wanted to concentrate only on reaction .

J.C Vlagter gave this name CRE in 1958 in Amsterdam
When we apply all Engineering principle to Chemical Reaction Engineering.

Application of CRE.
● Waste Treatment.
● Living System.
● Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical.
● Manufacturing of Chemical.
● Modeling of Smoke.
● Petroleum Product.
● Food Industry.
● Print Industry.
● Water Treatment.
● Textile Industry.
● Nano Particle etc.

Defination of CRE. The study of CRE Combines the study of Chemical kinematics with reactor in which reaction occur.
Chemical Reaction. A chemical reaction takes place when a number of molecular of one or more chemical species have lost/loose their indentation and assume a new form by a change in the kind or number of atoms in the compound or by change in structure and configuration these atoms.

There are three basic ways in which a species many loose it's chemical identities.
1. Decomposition.
2. Combination.
3. Isomerization (Change in Structure)

Rate of reaction:- It is represented by - rate of reaction tells us how fast the number of molecules of one chemical species are being to forms another chemical reaction.

Isomerization or Isomerization:- Isomerization is the process by which one molecules which transformed into another atoms but the atoms have different arrangement. Ex. A-B-C - B-A-C (these related molecules know as isomer)
Rate of Reaction:- The rate of reaction (-ra) is the number of moles of a reacting (disappearance) per unit time per unit volume.
-ra unit :- mol/& litre
